How to care for your beautiful flowers.
Only the freshest, high-quality flowers are used in my designs. Some of the blooms are in bud initially which extends lifespan ensuring you have more time in enjoying their beauty as they open.
- Please unwrap all flowers within 48 hours.
- Fill a clean vase half full of tepid water and add the supplied flower food. For best care change water and recut stems every 2-3 days.
- Once arranged place in a cool, well-lit area away from direct heat, sunlight or fruit that is ripening.
All Flowers – By cutting stems on a slant with sharp scissors, placing them in deep water prior to arranging in a clean container, having removed any foliage/leaves which would be below water level.
Roses – As above. If the roses wilt, re-cut stems at an angle and plunge stems in 2" of boiling water for 1 minute then plunge into deep water.
Tied arrangements/Bouquets – As for flowers above. However, if delivered in water, place in sink, pierce film and drain before undoing packaging. Then as above within 2 days.
Flower Arrangement – Where flowers are arranged in floral foam, place on sink drainer area, then add water and flower food to the foam, daily.
General Advice on caring for your flowers – Avoid direct sunlight, draughts or hot locations. Always use flower preservatives provided.
FOR SAFETY REASONS. Keep all flowers, berries, flower food etc away from children and pets as they can cause harm if ingested.
Caution – Some flowers and foliage may be toxic or cause skin irritations.
Always wash your hands after handling your flowers.
Lily stamens are known to stain permanently, avoid contact with all surfaces, it is recommended to remove stamens as they appear.
